Drive over ramp

The TreadReader drive over ramp completely automates both tyre inspection and data management and is well suited to larger vehicle operators with >100 vehicles. The advanced features and patented optical technology of TreadReader allows the ramp to be positioned in the yard with little or no preparation to the road surface.

Wireless transmitters attached to the vehicle are used to identify the tractor and trailer units as they pass over the ramp. Preloaded axle configurations allow tyre positions to be identified.

Minimum tyre tread depth is calculated for each tyre and presented to the driver on a roadside TFT display. A print station may also be incorporated should the driver require a hard copy on exiting the yard.

Wireless WIFI communication allows easy integration into existing data management systems and offline wear analysis and tyre lifetime modelling.
