Stone Tyres, a specialist in tyre sales and alignment services in St Helens, Merseyside, has seen increased sales and customer safety thanks to the TreadReader™ DriveOver tyre measurement system.

Offering a wide range of tyres and known for their responsive service, Stone Tyres was the first independent supplier to install the TreadReader DriveOver system, which has quickly become an integral part of the business.

“This system has paid for itself within three years,” says Director John Stone. “It delivers accurate reports for every tyre and identifies wheel alignment issues, allowing us to offer additional services.”

The system measures tread depth across the entire width of the tyre as it passes over a pressure switch, with the results displayed in a 3D colour-coded format.
